SINDH INDUSTRIAL ESTATE OF NORTHERN BYPASS SCHEME

SHALL PLAY A VITAL ROLE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF KARACHI

 

 

Mr. Shamim Ahmed Shamsi, President KCCI in a press release congratulated the  Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, in respect of establishing Sindh Industrial Estate at Northern Bypass Scheme, demanded extension of time period upto 30th September 2008 for documentation formalities.

 

He said that after lapse of one year of balloting of industrial plots, the successful applicants have neither received allotment letter nor installment schedule despite their constant follow up with the concerned officials.  He referred the advertisement appeared in the press that successful applicants would received allotment letters on their respective address and date for completion of documentation formalities was fixed as 30th July, 2008 but it is regretted that concerned officials are refusing to accept the documents and installments causing hurdles to the investors.

 

He demanded that successful applicants should be informed properly, payment schedule be provided, required documents be spelled out. The successful applicants are going from pillar to post but no remedy is available to them.  The prescribed form being complicated require more time for completion and submission.

 

Therefore, it is urged upon the Provincial Government to extend the date of submission of forms and completion of documentation formalities upto 30th September 2008 and official involved in creating hurdles be held responsible to overcome the difficulties being faced by the successful applicants on top priority basis.
