E-FILING COUNTER INAUGURATED AT KCCI,
FBR ASSURES TAX PAYERS FOR ALL POSSIBLE AWARENESS AND GUIDANCE REGARDING E-FILING PROCEDURE
KCCI hold a workshop in collaboration with the Collectorate of Sales Tax & Federal Excise on mandatory E-Filing of Sales Tax and Federal Excise Return-cum-Payment Challan at KCCI.
Mr. Shamim Ahmed Shamsi, President, KCCI welcomed Mr. Irfan Nadeem Syed, Member Direct Taxes FBR at inauguration ceremony of opening of E-Filing Counter at KCCI to facilitate the tax payers.
Mr. Iftikhar Qutub Collector and Mrs. Shah Bano G.M. Khan, Additional Collector, Collectorate of Sales Tax and Federal Excise at the workshop apprised of law and procedure of E-filing of tax return, which has been mandatory for all registered persons w.e.f. 1st July 2008. A presentation for E-filing was also made and related queries of tax payers were replied by the tax officials. Mr. Iftikhar Qutub advised the tax payers to pinpoint their queries in writing and may contact his office for all possible guidance and assistance for E-filing procedure.. He assured the tax payers that he would consider and recommend the time extension of E-filing as the system being newly introduced may further be improved and facilitated with the suggestions of all concerned.
Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed Shaikh, Senior Vice President, KCCI, Mr. Tahir Khaliq, Former President, KCCI, Mr. M. Haroon Agar, Vice President, KCCI, Mr. Shakil-ur-Rehman, Chairman, Taxation Sub-Committee, KCCI, Mr. Muzammil Hussain, Chairman, GST & Refund Sub-Committee, KCCI were also present on the occasion.
