Mr. Siraj Kassam Teli, Leader of the business community and Former President KCCI as well as Former Presidents of KCCI, Mr. Tahir Khaliq, Mr. Zubair Motiwala, Mr. Haroon Farooki, Mr. Anjum Nisar ( Senior Member of BMG ) and Mr. Shamim Ahmed Shamsi, President, KCCI, Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed Sheikh, Senior Vice President, KCCI, Mr. M. Haroon Agar, Vice President, KCCI and Members Managing Committee, KCCI in a press release issued today welcomed nomination of Mr. Asif Ali Zardari for the post of Presidentship of Pakistan.

Mr. Teli Said that although neither we are political entity nor have any political affiliation with any political party, but representing the business community of Karachi, we fully appreciate the nomination of Mr. Zardari as a most suitable personality from the Province of Sindh. He said that Mr. Altaf Hussain the Chief of MQM has proposed the nomination of Mr. Zardari keeping in view the natural alliance of PPP and MQM in the province of Sindh would play a positive role towards the prosperity and economic growth of Sindh in general and Karachi in particular.

Mr. Teli further said that business community of Karachi appreciate and support the nomination visualizing that Province of Sindh and Karachi would get due attention of the government to redress the difficulties faced by the people of Sindh and Karachi by not getting in the past. Due to the proposed nomination of Mr. Zardari, the economic activities in the Karachi would be put on straight path leading towards creating employment opportunities for the unemployment youth of Sindh and Karachi through industrialization, stable law & order and harmony among the people of Sindh.
